Today, I have some very exciting news to share! I accomplished a hundred days of Duolingo Spanish!!!
This year, I really wanted to improve in as many aspects as I could, and I first started out doing so by
starting to practice my Spanish on Duolingo every day. When I first started, I never would've imagined being
able to actually stick to it for an entire one hundred days.
Even though there is plenty of people who have reached this milestone, I've never committed to
anything for this long--I usually forget to do it or lose the motivation quickly. So, for me to be able to
stick to something for so long, it's a big feat.
What's even more motivating for me to continue to learn, is the fact that I am actively getting better at
reading and understanding Spanish (my speaking could definitely use some improvement). When I go on Twitter,
I find Spanish written tweets, and I take the time out of my day to try and translate it fully. I always
feel such a sense of satisfaction when I can actually understand something written in Spanish.
I have no intention of quitting Duolingo Spanish, because I feel like it would be doing myself a disservice.
I've already gotten this far, and I've already reaped some of the rewards--so, why stop now?
On another note, I think I will start adding in cool resources that I have found on the internet that can
help with HTML and CSS in every entry. I think it would be really helpful in case I ever want to look
back at the resources I've found, or if someone stumbling across my page wants to check out these resources,
too!
Both cheatsheet websites, made by the same people, can be translated from French to English, and there's a downloadable PDF & JPG poster, as well.
